HEINZMANN Launches New Customisable PRI Motor Series

Schönau, March 2025 – HEINZMANN, a leading innovator in electric drive technology, is introducing its newly developed PRI* motor series. This year, it will be showcased at two major industry events: bauma in Munich (April 7-13) and iVT Expo in Cologne (June 11-12).

High-Efficiency Synchronous Motors
The new PRI motor series from the Electric Drives division of Heinzmann GmbH & Co. KG, based in Schönau, features compact synchronous motors with permanent magnets in the rotor (IPM rotor technology). Designed for both mobile drive technology and stationary applications, these motors can be individually adapted to meet specific customer requirements. Their flexible design enables tailor-made installation solutions.

Advanced Protection Against Environmental Influences
With housings made from a corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy, the PRI motors can withstand even the harshest operating conditions. With protection class IP67 (optional 6k9k), the motors are also ideally suited for dusty and damp environments.

Key Features of the PRI Motor Series
The PRI motor series is characterized by high performance, reliability, maintenance-free operation, and air cooling.
A significant reduction in magnetic materials, combined with a modular architecture, reduces costs without compromising performance.
Additionally, field weakening allows for further power enhancements. All PRI motors can also be used as generators, enabling braking operation and energy recuperation. Shaft ends can be customized to meet individual customer requirements.

Versatile Applications Across Multiple Sectors
The PRI motor series is highly versatile and suitable for use in industrial applications, e-mobility, agricultural, construction, and municipal machinery, as well as hydraulic systems.
